Had another wonderful week in this well equipped cottage. Stunning displays of wild flowers from roadside verges to costal cliffs, plus the dazzling displays of Rhodedenrons at the local gardens theres still so much to see, we will be back again.

The lounge at Eigg has been newly decorated and furnished, with a fabric and leather suite and leather reclining chairs. Heating is by electric central heating and a solid multi fuel stove. Solid fuel and electricity are included in the rental price
The lounge also has the benefit of a brand new LCD colour TV, video recorder and CD player and a Sky Plus Satellite system (basic package)
The cottage has a light and welcoming feel, enhanced by a newly fitted enlarged double glazed window giving extensive views over Luce Bay.
A recent eco-friendly improvement is the installation of solar panels.

Eigg benefits from a extremely well equipped kitchen, having the benefit of a ceramic electric hob and double oven, integral fridge and dishwasher and also a microwave oven. There is a comprehensive range of crockery, cutlery, glassware and kitchen equipment for the use of guests.
The kitchen adjoins the open plan dining area which has the benefit of a new dining suite.
Eigg also benefits from an attached utility room which houses an automatic washing machine, tumble drier and freezer, as well as providing additional cupboard space.

The main bedroom at Eigg has a double bed, together with pine furniture, consisting of a wardrobe, dressing table and bedside cabinets. The room has a light and airy feel accentuated by the light wall colours and a number of paintings.
The bedroom has an extensive view over Luce Bay which is only a matter of yards from the front of the cottage.

The second bedroom has two single beds and pine furniture and also has a light and airy feel.
Eigg has recently been fitted with a new bathroom consisting of fully fitted units with electric over bath shower and a tiled floor, which gives a very modern feel.
At the rear of the cottage is an open plan lawned area with views over farmland. There is a modern wooden dining set, with a parasol for the sunny days and an electric barbecue for "al fresco" dining.
